Manager Commercial PD Technology: December 2012- November 2015

· Managed the team that handled Mohawk commercial’s custom Tricycle websites content and projects.

· In charge of Internal Simulations visualization group for Commercial analyst, reps and customers.

· Developed process and then trained and managed the team to deliver technical support for software, computer and mobile issues and upgrades for Product Development (PD), Special Order Contract (SOC) and the Sample Pilot Plant Departments with the primary function to minimize wasted time by others in the department. This included older generation pilot sample machines.

· Collaborated with Marketing to execute their branding vision on the Internal Simulation deliverables and the custom Tricycle website.

· Managed the budget on projects and provided analytical data to accounting to ensure project was meeting projected ROI.

· Responsible for recommending projects be scrapped if ROI was not being attained.


SR Design Technology Specialist: 2008

· Primary technology contact responsible for researching current trends, vetting alternate options, developing processes and training team.

· Responsible for creating and deploying custom website functionality and CAD stations for design, simulation and visualization with the primary goal to improve the functionality, process, deliverables and cost.

· Setup and managed outsourcing of room images for prepping to be authored into room scene software.

· Commercial Division primary contact for Technology vendors including Tricycle, Nedgraphics, and others.

· Helped review, approve, maintain and audit technology agreements to protect the company’s investments.

· Participated in the creation of the budget and managed the hardware and software needs for PD, SOC and Pilot plant within defined budget.


PD Technology Specialist: 2005

· Authored Standard and Custom Room Scenes in Nedgraphics Easy Map, Picario and APSO 3di.

· Provided advanced technical knowledge to help resolve troublesome designs or styles for PD and SOC.

· Perfected the Mtuft sample prototyping process for PD and SOC, managed Mtuft operator and provided advanced technical support for the maintenance on hardware and software.

· Processed tracking of all SIMs, Custom Room Scenes, Samples and TPRs for end of month close out and reporting to accounting for allocations and yearly analytics.

· Defined and maintained network structure and user rights groups for PD, SOC and other interacting Mohawk departments.


Senior Designer: 2003

· Assisted in bringing to market both Commercial and Residential styles and collection from digital prototypes to samples to mockup books to website instances.


Designer 1: 1999

· Built aesthetically pleasing designs that are manufacturing friendly.


Qualification:

· Super user and trainer in Nedgraphics, Tuftco and APSO carpet design software.

· Expert in Adobe suite, Microsoft office (especially excel), AS400, SQL view point and calibrated printing and monitors.
